What can we help you find?

Do I need the internet to use the app?

Yes, this is a cloud-based app. All processing is done on AWS servers, and your data is securely stored there. Because an internet connection is required, you may experience slower results when your connection is weak or limited. If you’re not on Wi-Fi, the app may use your mobile data. Rest assured, we never share your data with any third parties.

The app uses data from LH (Luteinizing Hormone) and PDG (Pregnanediol Glucuronide) tests to enhance the accuracy of ovulation predictions. Here’s how these biomarkers contribute:

1.Luteinizing Hormone (LH): LH is a key hormone that triggers ovulation. A surge in LH levels typically occurs 24-48 hours before ovulation. By tracking LH levels through test results, the app can identify this surge and predict the time frame during which ovulation is most likely to occur.
2.Pregnanediol Glucuronide (PDG): PDG is a metabolite of progesterone, a hormone that rises after ovulation. Elevated PDG levels confirm that ovulation has occurred. The app uses PDG test results to verify the ovulation event, ensuring that predictions align with your actual cycle.
3.Comprehensive Analysis: By combining LH and PDG data with other inputs, such as basal body temperature and historical cycle trends, the app provides a more accurate and reliable ovulation prediction. It identifies the fertile window and confirms ovulation for better cycle tracking.

Regular and precise testing for LH and PDG enhances the app’s ability to deliver personalized and scientifically backed fertility insights.

The app uses your Basal Body Temperature (BBT) to analyze and predict ovulation by identifying patterns in your temperature data. Here’s how it works:

1.Accurate Measurements: To ensure reliable predictions, it’s important to use a high-precision thermometer. Take your temperature immediately upon waking, before any physical activity. Using a thermometer with significant error margins can impact the app’s accuracy.
2.Historical Data Analysis: The app relies on sufficient historical BBT data to understand your unique patterns. It examines your temperature changes over multiple menstrual cycles to identify consistent trends, such as the rise in BBT after ovulation.
3.Current Data Comparison: Using the patterns from your historical data, the app compares your current BBT measurements to detect similar fluctuations. This allows it to pinpoint the likely ovulation day within your cycle.

By combining precise measurements with detailed historical analysis, the app provides tailored ovulation insights to help you track your fertility effectively.

1. What is LH test?
Ovulation Test Strip is a qualitative test used to predict when there is a lutenizing hormone (LH) surge, and in turn, when you are likely to ovulate.
2. What’s the different between LH test and LH Ultra test?

3. When to Start Testing LH?
If you are new to testing, we recommend tracking your LH levels daily after the last day of your period so you don’t miss your LH surge. And continue testing until you detect the LH peak and observe that your LH levels have decreased and remained low.
4. When is the Best Time to Take an Ovulation Test?
Test any time between the hours of 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, as this is when LH levels tend to be highest. You’ll just want to make sure you avoid using first morning urine. Test around the same time each day is highly recommend.
Note: Please upload one image per test.
5. How to Test Using the HORMONElife App to Help You Read the LH Test?
1) Prepare the LH Test Strip: Follow the instructions provided with the strip to ensure it is used correctly.

Note: Do not read result after 5 minutes.
2) Tap the “Capture Results” button: Open the APP, in the main interface, find and tap the “Capture Results” button. Choose test type of “LH”, and then select the Interpretation Method:
o Take the Photo:
a. Choose the scan feature in the app.
b. Hold your phone steady above the test strip and capture a clear image. Place the entire test within the strip frame, ensure that the max line and the control line align with the yellow dotted line.
o Choose from Gallery:
a. Select the option to upload an image within the app.
b. Choose a clear photo of your LH test strip from your gallery to upload. Adjust the picture so that the max line and the control line align with the yellow dotted line
3) Wait for Result Analysis: After taking the photo or selecting it, the app will automatically analyze the image and display the test results.
4) Save and Review Results: You can choose to save the results for future reference and review previous test results in the history section.
5. Understanding the Results
Once the app analyzes your test strip, you will receive a result indicating one of the following:
Negative (No LH Surge)
•LOW(0≤LH T/C Ratio<0.75): LH levels are low, then you have not begun your LH surge and you should continue with daily testing.
•HIGH (0.75≤LH T/C Ratio<1): A rise in LH levels suggests that ovulation may occur soon.
Positive (LH Surge)
•PEAK(LH T/C Ratio≥1): you will probably ovulate in the next 48 hours. During this time, you’ll have a higher chance of getting pregnant.

T/C Ratio:
LH test have two lines: the test line (T) and the control line (C). The T/C ratio compares their color intensity to show luteinizing hormone (LH) levels in urine.
•T/C Ratio of 1.0: Test line is as dark as the control line, indicating peak LH levels.
•T/C Ratio Less than 1.0: Test line is lighter, indicating lower LH levels.
•T/C Ratio Greater than 1.0: Test line is darker, indicating higher LH levels.
In short, aim for a T/C ratio of 1.0 to detect your LH peak.
6. What Should My LH Hormone Chart Look Like?
Your LH hormone chart typically shows a slow increase over several days, leading to a peak and then a quick decline. Alternatively, it may rise quickly in one day and then drop back down. The way your LH levels rise—gradually or quickly—will shape your chart. Some women may also see a double peak or a flat pattern before reaching the main LH peak.
If you are new to ovulation testing, consider testing twice a day to identify if you have a rapid LH surge (LH rising in just a few hours) or a gradual LH surge (LH rising over the course of a few days). Once you know your pattern, you can test once a day if your LH surge lasts more than one day but twice a day if your surge is less than one day.
7. Tips for Taking Photos of Test Results

Understanding Fertility: Chance of Conception Across the Menstrual Cycle

Understanding the chance of conception on each day of your cycle is crucial for effective family planning. Let’s delve into this concept!

Research has shown that the likelihood of conception varies throughout the menstrual cycle. The highest chance of conception occurs during the fertile window, which includes the days leading up to and around ovulation. Ovulation, the release of an egg from the ovary, typically occurs in the middle of the cycle. Being aware of the chance of conception on each day is essential for maximizing your chances of getting pregnant. By tracking your cycle and identifying your fertile days, you can plan intercourse strategically around ovulation. Studies indicate that timing intercourse during the fertile window increases the probability of conception.

By understanding your fertility and the chance of conception on each day of your cycle, you can make informed decisions about when to try for pregnancy and increase your chances of success.

Note:

Please be aware that the chance of conception can vary based on factors such as age and menstrual cycle. It is important to know that this information should not be used as a method of contraception.
